Clause for consent to the processing of personal data

According to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań hereby informs you that:

  1. Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań, located at H. Wieniawskiego 1, 61-712 Poznań, is the administrator of your personal data.
  2. The Data Protection Officer has been appointed by the data administrator, and you can contact them via email at iod@amu.edu.pl.
  3. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of registering, organizing, and conducting the 3rd French-Polish Chemistry Congress, organized by Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań,  Scientific Center in Paris, Polish Academy of Sciences, Sorbonne Université, La Bibliothèque Polonaise de Paris, Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and Poznań University of Technology. They will also be used for archival purposes and defence against potential claims.
  4. Your personal data will be processed based on Article 6(1)(c), (e), and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  5. Providing the data required by the Organizer is necessary. Failure to provide this data will prevent your participation in the Congress.
  6. The data will be processed for the period necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes and, thereafter, for the period and to the extent required by the provisions of applicable law.
  7. Your personal data may be disclosed to co-organizers of the Congress. Conference materials and the book of abstracts will be published on the Congress website. Additionally, photographs taken during the Congress may be published on the organizers’ websites and social media platforms. Recipients of your personal data may include entities to which the data controller entrusts the performance of specific activities involving the processing of personal data (data processors), in particular, operators of IT systems, email systems, legal and auditing firms. Your personal data may also be disclosed to entities authorized under the provisions of the law.
  8. You have the following rights: a) Under Article 15 of the GDPR, the right to access your personal data and the right to obtain a copy of your data; b) Under Article 16 of the GDPR, the right to request the correction of your personal data; c) The right to erasure of data – this right is granted within the premises and under the conditions specified in Article 17 of the GDPR; d) The right to restrict processing – this right is granted within the premises and under the conditions specified in Article 18 of the GDPR; e) The right to data portability – this right is granted within the premises and under the conditions specified in Article 20 of the GDPR; f) The right to object to processing – this right is granted within the premises and under the conditions specified in Article 21 of the GDPR; g) The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (President of the Office for Personal Data Protection).
  9. Your data will not be subject to automated processing and will not be profiled in accordance with Article 22 of the GDPR.
